How old do I have to be to become a member?

You must be at least 18 and older with a doctors recommendation for a medicinal cannabis.

 

How long is the verification process for new members?

In most cases, the verification process is complete instantly. However, there are some cases which take a little more time.

Is my personal information safe?

Yes. Patient information is stored in a HIPAA compliant database.

Do you accept health insurance?

Unfortunately, we do not accept health insurance at this time.

Where is my cannabis come from?

All cannabis comes from reliable and experienced growers in the Bay area.

What do we do with the information you Provide?

We may ask you to give us contact and demographic information when you register. We use this information to send our Site’s users like you information about the Site or Services. We also use this information to contact you both on line and offline when needed.

 

What do we do with your IP address and cookies?

We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website. Your IP address is used to gather broad demographic information and is stored as a partial identifier. We use cookies, when applicable, to deliver content specific to your interests and when applicable to save your password so you don’t have to re-enter it each time you visit our site. You may set your browser to refuse cookies. If you make that choice, please understand that you may not be eligible for any specials and / or promotions we may offer our Site’s users.

Do I still need a doctor’s recommendation after Prop. 64 passed?

Under the rules of California’s Proposition 64 that became law on November 9, 2016, a doctor’s recommendation is required for every SATLLA patients until January 1, 2018. An overview of California cannabis laws (not prepared or verified for accuracy by SATLLA) is available here.

Can SATLLA recommend where to get Medical Cannabis ID cards?​

SATLLA is not permitted to recommend doctors to patients. Google, Yelp and the East Bay Express is a good resource for finding local and authorized doctors, many of who conduct their practice online and do not require an office visits.
